The Blagdon B15 Non-Metallic air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump is designed for reliable transfer of corrosive chemicals and compatible process fluids where non-metallic wetted construction is preferred.
With maximum delivery up to 48 litres per minute (13 gal/min) and working pressure up to 8 bar (116 psi), the B15 combines compact dimensions with dependable fluid-transfer performance for industrial chemical-handling duties.
Polypropylene and PVDF wetted-material configurations are available to suit different chemical compatibility requirements. The pump also features self-priming operation, a proven pneumatic air-valve system and the ability to handle suspended particles up to 2 mm.
| Polypropylene | Lightweight and corrosion-resistant non-metallic construction suitable for many compatible acids, alkalis and industrial chemicals. |
| PVDF | Higher chemical-resistance option for selected aggressive chemicals and demanding process environments. |
| Conductive Polypropylene | Available in selected configurations where conductive construction is required. |
| Valve Type | Ball valve |
| Diaphragm Options | Buna-N, EPDM, Neoprene, Santoprene, PTFE, one-piece PTFE and Viton depending on configuration |
Final pump, diaphragm, valve-ball and seat-material selection should be confirmed against the actual fluid, chemical concentration, temperature and operating conditions.
Polypropylene: A lightweight and cost-effective non-metallic option with good corrosion resistance for many compatible industrial chemicals, acids and alkalis.
PVDF: Provides enhanced chemical resistance for selected aggressive fluids and applications where polypropylene may not provide the required compatibility.
Material compatibility should always be checked against the exact chemical, concentration and operating temperature before pump selection.
Blagdon X15 configurations are available for applicable ATEX hazardous-area duties. Correct conductive materials, installation, bonding and grounding requirements must be confirmed for the intended application.
