DescriptionFeaturesSpecificationsDocumentation

Blagdon B15 Metallic AODD Pump

The Blagdon B15 Metallic air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump is a compact industrial pump designed for reliable transfer of chemicals, solvents, process fluids and other compatible liquids.

With flow rates up to approximately 60 litres per minute (16 gal/min) and maximum working pressure up to 8.6 bar (125 psi), the B15 provides dependable fluid transfer while maintaining a compact and portable design.

Aluminum and 316L stainless steel wetted configurations are available to suit different process requirements. Its bolted construction, self-priming capability and proven pneumatic air-valve system make it suitable for demanding industrial applications where reliability and straightforward maintenance are important.

Diaphragm Options Buna-N, EPDM, Neoprene, Polyurethane, Santoprene, PTFE, one-piece PTFE and Viton depending on configuration
Valve Ball Options Buna-N, EPDM, Neoprene, PTFE, Viton, Acetal and stainless steel depending on pump configuration

Final wetted-material, diaphragm, ball and seat selection should be confirmed against the actual process fluid, chemical concentration, operating temperature and application conditions.

Typical Applications

  • Chemical transfer
  • Solvent transfer
  • General industrial fluid transfer
  • Container and drum emptying
  • Tank transfer and unloading
  • Paints, inks and coatings
  • Lubricants and compatible oils
  • Process-fluid transfer
  • OEM and packaged equipment systems
  • Applicable hazardous-area installations using the correct X15 ATEX configuration

Aluminum vs Stainless Steel

Aluminum: Provides a lightweight metallic pump construction for many compatible general industrial fluid-transfer applications where portability and lower pump weight are useful.

316L Stainless Steel: Provides enhanced corrosion resistance for compatible chemicals and industrial process fluids where stainless steel wetted components are preferred.
