Brand: Worthington
Description:

The Flowserve WD and WDX are between bearings radially split multistage pumps designed to handle high-pressure fluid transfer in compact, modular configurations. Ideal for boiler feed, water injection and industrial high-pressure applications, these pumps deliver consistent performance while minimizing installation footprint and simplifying maintenance access.

WD and WDX are radially split, high-pressure, multistage, ring section pumps designed for a wide range of process and industrial applications.

WD and WDX Between Bearings, Single Case, Radially Split, Multistage, Ring Section Applications

Agriculture, Auxiliary (chemical), Ground Water Development and Irrigation, Boiler Feed, Boiler Feed (pulp and paper), Auxiliary Services (power)

  • Industries:
Power Generation, Pulp and Paper, General Industries, Chemical Processing, Water Resources

Pump Casings (suction, discharge and stage) are sealed with O-rings and designed to contain the pressures generated by the pump at the various possible design pressures and temperatures.

Fully Shrouded Impeller may be fitted with optional wear rings. The suction impeller is specifically designed to have a low NPSH requirement.

The diffusers are fully machined to optimize performance.

Antifriction Bearings may be either oil or grease lubricated.  Bearing isolators or stationary labyrinths are available.

Stuffing boxes have been designed for component or cartridge seals. Gland packing may be fitted as an option.

Modular Construction features identical stages stacked axially to achieve the desired pressure output. Four high-strength external tie rods connect the two end casings.

WD and WDX Operating Parameters

  • Flows to 190 m3/h (800 gpm)
  • Heads to 700 m (2300 ft)
  • Pressures to 75 bar (1090 psi)
  • Temperatures to 210°C (410°F)
