Versa-Matic E4-1½” FDA Clamped Metallic AODD Pump
The Versa-Matic E4 1½” (38 mm) FDA Clamped Metallic air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump is designed for hygienic food-processing and specialty fluid-transfer applications requiring reliable operation, easy cleaning and FDA-compliant materials.
Its stainless steel wetted construction, sanitary Tri-Clamp connections and lightweight clamped design support rapid teardown, cleaning and reassembly. The pump delivers flow rates up to 70 gpm (265 lpm), making it suitable for batching, ingredient transfer and other on-demand processing duties.
Internal and external stainless steel surfaces are electropolished to a 150 µ-in (Ra 3.81 µm) finish. FDA-compatible diaphragm configurations and ATEX-compliant versions are available depending on the required pump specification.

FDA & ATEX Considerations
Versa-Matic food-processing pumps are available in configurations using FDA-compliant materials. Selected configurations are also available to comply with EC No. 1935/2004 requirements for food-contact materials.
ATEX-compliant pumps must be correctly installed and grounded according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable local requirements when used in potentially explosive environments.
