Alfa Laval – Unique 7000 Small Single Seat Valve

The Small Single Seat Valve from Alfa Laval features the sanitary and flexible design you know and trust in a fractional size. These 1/2 and 3/4 inch valves are applicable for a wide range of tasks, either as stop valves with two or three ports, or as change-over valves with three to five ports. The SSSV series is suitable for use in food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, wherever the sanitation of a seat valve is needed in fractional sizes.

All valve configurations come with the quality manufacturing and design you’ve come to expect from Alfa Laval. Authorized to carry the 3-A symbol, the SSSV series provided the sanitary operation you require.

 7000 Small Single Seat Valve Application

The small single seat valve series is appropriate for any 1/2 and 3/4 inch application in the food, beverage, and dairy industries where the shut-off of change-over operation of a seat valve is needed.

Working Principle

Small single seat valves can be manually or pneumatically actuated. The SSSV maintains a simple design with only a few moving parts, making it a reliable component in any flow system.

Standard Design

The SSSV is available in ½ inch and ¾ inch OD tube connections. The design is composed of an actuator, lip seal, plug, and one or two valve bodies. The unique plug design is made from PVDF and the valve body interior has a 20 ?inch Ra surface finish for high cleanability. The valve maintains an open yoke design and is authorized to carry the 3A symbol. Valve bodies and actuators are connected via a clamp connection. The piston and valve plug maintain a threaded connection. Tri-Clamp or weld connections are standard.
