Description: |
The Mark 3 Group 4 is part of Flowserve’s industry-leading ANSI chemical process pump family, specifically designed to handle higher flow and head combinations beyond the standard range of Group 1 to Group 3 sizes. With a horizontal overhung back pull-out design, Group 4 pumps offer exceptional hydraulic coverage for demanding applications in the chemical processing refining pharmaceutical and general industrial sectors. Built to comply with ASME B73.1 dimensional standards, the Mark 3 Group 4 features a robust shaft and bearing arrangement that delivers long-term reliability even under corrosive high-pressure conditions. It supports a wide range of materials and sealing plans, making it ideal for aggressive acids solvents and slurries. As part of the Mark 3 family, this pump ensures consistent performance across system expansions without compromising on efficiency or maintainability. |
Designed to complement the Flowserve Mark 3 ANSI pump product line, the new Mark 3 Group 4 design offers flow rates to 4540 m3/h (20 000 US gpm), well beyond traditional ANSI sizes. Outside the scope of the ANSI performance and dimensional requirements, the Group 4 is designed for maximum reliability and efficiency in demanding applications.
Single stage, overhung, centrifugal pump designed to ASME B73.1 Standards. Hydraulic performance, NPSH and vibration testing per Hydraulic Institute (HI) standards. CE/ATEX Conformance.
• Flows to 3861 m3/h (17 000 gpm)
• Heads to 125 m (410 ft)
• Discharge pressures to 19 bar (275 psi)
• Temperatures from -73°C to 204°C (-100°F to 400°F); ductile iron: -29°C to 204°C (-20°F to 400°F)
The expanded hydraulic range of the Durco Mark 3 Group 4 comprises 13 sizes on two bearing frame platforms:
The reverse vane impeller design ensures consistent pump performance throughout its life. Open impellers are available. Durco SealSentry seal chambers provide optimal seal chamber environments. Standard sealed bearing housing with labyrinth isolators prevents lubricant and contaminants. A two-piece power end design reduces maintenance costs and facilitates predictive maintenance. Heavy-duty radial and thrust bearings are used for long life. External micrometer impeller adjustment simplifies maintenance. The rugged shaft and bearing design extends seal life and reduces shaft deflection and vibration.
