All product-contact parts including the pump casing, impeller, impeller nut and backplate are made from W. 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel. The motor is protected by a stainless steel shroud and the complete unit is supported by four adjustable stainless steel legs.
A compression coupling securely connects the stub shaft to the motor shaft with precise alignment. The semi-open impeller with a special vane design delivers efficient yet gentle product handling throughout the pumping process.
The LKHPF pump is supplied as standard with an internal single mechanical shaft seal with the option for a flushed shaft seal. The flushed version uses a durable lip seal as the secondary seal. The front-loading shaft seal design enables quick easy and cost-effective maintenance. Shaft seal replacement can be completed in just minutes. Its balanced design also reduces the risk of seal opening during unexpected pressure surges.
With a heavy-duty pump casing and backplate, high-pressure internal seals and multiple heavy-duty studs the pump is built to withstand very high inlet pressures.
