The HPX-V vertical inline process pump allows you to make a space while maintaining performance. Its rugged ISO 13709/API 610 (OH3) design and small dimensions make it ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature applications in which installation space is limited. It is designed to continuously withstand the harsh operating conditions seen in the oil and gas and hydrocarbon industries.

The HPX-V pump is based on the well-known Flowserve HPX horizontal process pump, which has the same shaft diameter and impeller as the HPX. This allows you to standardize seals and impellers across multiple pump lines, resulting in decreased spare part inventory.

  • In-line vertical casing can sustain nozzle loads according to ISO 13709/API 610 requirements, which reduces shaft misalignment and increases rotor, bearing, and seal life.
  • The ASME B16.5 specification for Class 300 specifies elevated face flanges. Surface finish meets ISO 13709/API 610 specifications (ISO and JIS flanges are available).
  • To ensure proper sealing and alignment, the casing and cover feature a metal-to-metal fit with a completely regulated compression gasket.
  • The suction nozzle guiding vane ensures a consistent NPSH margin and helps to reduce intake vortexing.
  • Dynamically balanced precision cast impeller reduces vibration, ensuring smooth operation over a wide flow range.
  • The use of renewable casing and impeller wear rings reduces part prices. All pump sizes come included with a back wear ring. Optional plans and accessible resources.
  • The ISO 21049/API 682 seal chamber can accommodate a broad variety of seals, including dual pressurized and unpressurized cartridge types for the most severe applications. There are a full complement of API 682 seal flush piping designs available.
  • The shaft design adheres to ISO/API run-out and deflection rules quite well.
